Perhaps most appealing is Joan's pairing of very traditional block patterns with Appli-bond flowers. California poppies spring from a quilt designed with a Rocky Road to California pattern. Delicate deep green shamrocks showcase a Double Irish Chain quilt. Bouquets of forget-me-nots and Queen Anne's lace grace (what else!?), a Nosegay design. Fabulous morning glories salute double rows of Flying Geese in a lovely wall hanging. Each new pairing is more lovely than the last.
