Yenmet Twilight Combinations -- Twilight Gold (PG) Combinations and Twilight Silver (PS) Combinations
- Twilight metallic thread is a unique two color, one of a kind embroidery thread consisting of a colored strand randomly speckled with silver or gold metallic flakes.
- The random effect produces interesting textures not previously possible with traditional variegated or twisted two color threads.
- Unique construction consisting of a nylon core wrapped in a metallic exterior and coated with a polyester film, provides an incredibly smooth finish.
- Twilight is available in 22 colors combined with either gold or silver metallic on 1,000 meter mini-king spools.
- Select colors are now available on 5,000 meter king spools. (Please inquire for the 5,000 king spools)
- Needles: DBxK5 Nm 75/11, 80/12
- Machine Speed: 700 - 750 spm
- Thread Tension: The thread tension for Yenmet should be set so the thread pulls through the guides with as little resistance as possible. Or, the less tension the better.
- Bobbin Thread: The use of a well balanced bobbin thread is important when sewing with metallic threads. Rasant makes a nice companion to Yenmet, but virtually any popular bobbin will work.
- Embroidery Design: Stitches with less than 3mm in length should be avioded with Yenmet. Please check the embroidery design so the stitch density and stitch length fits to it.
- Use: Yenmet is a metallic effect embroidery thread developed for machine embroidery. It can be used for emblems and uniform goods but also to decorate fashion items as well. Yenmet also works well in combination with ISACORD, ISAFIL or ISALON products too.
