Blue Collection Pattern by Maggie Walker & fabric kit

Hand painted, printed and batiked fabric for top of quilt

The pieces -- vases, bottles, teapots, dishes, etc. -- researched from
private collections, museums, and my own small collection, are arranged in a
formal garden setting. The history of the pieces researched are on each block.



The light to midtone yellow background is randomly pieced. The appliqués are all
in blue or blue and white fabrics. This is a beautiful way to use blue batiks
and your favorite blue fabrics.
