Illusion Pattern by Caryl Bryer Fallert
Explore the possibilities of overlapping transparent triangles. Caryl has retired her original version of Illusion, to make room for a new improved version, and a complete workshop on CD ROM.
The lines are already printed on freezer paper for easy paper piecing.
Make your own version of Caryl's “Illusion” quilt using this simple pattern. Your finished quilt will be approximately 25" x 30". Basic written instructions are included with the pattern.
A complete workshop is available separately on CD-ROM, with full color, step by step instructions, from start to finish, including tips on quilting.
Here's what you will need to make the quilt:
• Three sets of eight graduated colors You can use the same set of colors three times, or you can use three different sets of colors. Naturally the more colors you use the more colorful your finished quilt will be.
• ½ yard of solid black or other very dark color.
• 1 yard, coordinating print fabric for your outer border, quilt back, and hanging sleeve. Large prints in colors to match your graduated strips work well.
